Power Hub Zug
Volunteer non-profit organisation supporting Ukrainian refugees with employment search in Switzerland
2 minutes
Power Hub Zug was founded in May 2022 in Zug as a private initiative. Meanwhile, we are registered as a non-profit volunteer association and work closely with the Department of Social Services Asylum Canton of Zug, as well as the local RAV (Regional Employment Center).
Our mission is to facilitate the successful job search for Ukrainians with status S in Switzerland (with a focus on the canton of Zug, but also in neighbouring cantons - Zurich, Lucerne, Aargau, Schwyz and others).
Power Hub Zug runs a peer-to-peer mentoring program that supports Ukrainian war migrants through all stages of the job search process in Switzerland. We organise 2 waves per year, each one lasting about 3 months. Our mentors volunteer their time during each wave to share their knowledge and experience about the application and job search process in Switzerland.
In addition to 1:1 mentoring support with our mentees throughout the application process, our core team organises a series of onsite and remote webinars focused on the 4 main blocks of our program:
- Swiss job market and job search strategies
- Resume and cover letter
- Interview preparation and techniques
- Networking and LinkedIn
You can apply for participation in our next wave via this link!
